Harikoshika is a type of papier-mâché nesting craft in which smaller pieces emerge from a larger piece, like a matryoshka doll.

Blue represents the power to live a strong life without being disturbed, yellow represents a rich appearance and a firm and unwavering nature, red represents the never-ending work of saving people with a great compassion, white represents purification, which purifies the suffering of various evil deeds and worldly desires with a pure heart, and black represents the patience to endure all insults, persecution, and temptations without getting angry. 

The traditional production methods of handmade, hand-pasted, and hand-painted one by one remain the same. The differences between each cat are the characteristics (cuteness) of papier-mâché.
