Ihoshiro Kiln
Ihoshiro Kiln, a pottery workshop that makes creative chopstick rests, is located in Mizunami City, Gifu Prefecture, a town full of greenery.
Founded in 1960, the kiln was opened in 2007. Started in 2007 as an in-house studio of Masters Craft Co., Ltd., currently 20 or so craftsmen are making cute chopstick rests every day.
At Ihoshiro Kiln, they have installed a solar power generation facility and use almost 100% solar energy for firing.
